Vintage Conditions

Late spring and early summer intermittent rainfall. A cool ripening period followed by a heat wave in March compressed the vintage.

Maturation

Maturation in a combination of French oak, hogs heads and puncheons for 12 months. This wine was barrel to barrel racked. Minimal filtration and handling techniques have been used to make this single vineyard wine.
